When I first came to Lima, I knew almost nothing about the city. I had heard of Miraflores and knew that it is one of Lima’s richest and most touristic suburbs. Conferences can be quite exhausting for introverts and I have to admit that I had mixed feelings about the Polyglot Conference for all those months since I bought the ticket until I finally went there.

I still remembered my DNX failure from May 2015 too well. The DNX is a conference for digital nomads, about the same size as the Polyglot Conference as far as the number of participants is concerned.

En mayo de 2015 fui a Budapest para participar en uno de los Polyglot Workshops que Richard Simcott y Alex Rawlings empezaron a organizar este año. Los primeros talleres tuvieron lugar en Polonia y Alemania. Cada taller dura un o dos días pero también es posible ir solo para un día. Esto lo hice, parcialmente porque tuve una cita en Praga y parcialmente porque quería aproximarme de una manera lenta a tales eventos.
